There's no need to make believe, this is a tough time to be a Magic fan. When the team traded away franchise star Dwight Howard, they lost their most marketable, identifiable, and by far best player. The 2013 campaign was one fans would certainly like to forget, as the team bottomed out with one of the worst records in the league. There is hope, though, as young players Nikola Vucevic and Tobias Harris have shown signs of developing into very effective, possibly even star players. For now, Magic fans will most likely be happier focusing on the franchise's more memorable past. A classic Shaq jersey is a hip way to rep both your team and a larger than life star, while a throwback Penny Hardaway reminds people of a player who, in his prime, as one of the best all-around players to ever lace up. Even a retro T-Mac, while maybe a little ironic nowadays, is a solid tribute to one of the franchise's true stars. The present may be a little rough for Magic fans, but that's not so bad when you think about the past and future.
